aluplast was founded in December 1982 in Ettlingen at the edge of the Black Forest by current Chairman Manfred J. Seitz. The company has grown consistently throughout its twenty five year history.

aluplast is now one of the most dynamic international manufacturers of window profile systems and is today the third largest single brand in this field in Europe.

aluplast has 10 manufacturing sites in Europe which will process 150,000 tonnes of PVC-U in 2007. aluplast serves some 1600 fabricator customers who are responsible for around 10 million windows per annum. aluplast has a further 12 office and distribution centres throughout Europe.

Nearly 1400 employees develop, manufacture, sell and distribute systems for windows, doors and shutters throughout the continent and beyond.

aluplast continues to invest in technology and facilities that serve the group’s drive for growth. In September 2006 aluplast opened its new leading edge polymer blending plant at its Karlsruhe headquarters. Recent innovations include the UK Ideal 70 system with its outstanding energy performance and in Europe the revolutionary glass bonding technology.
